In December 2024, Siegfried Kappert was honoured in Beelitz with a Medal of Honour of Potsdam-Mittelmark for his outstanding services. Born in Feldheim, he has been a tour guide at the Neue Energien Forum Feldheim since it was founded and enriches our team! 😊
🤝 Siegfried has lived and worked in Feldheim for over eight decades. His tireless commitment to the community and his optimism have made him an inspiring personality. As a long-standing member of ‘Volkssolidarität’ and as a firefighter, he has always conveyed a sense of safety and security. 👨🚒
🤩 His commitment to the energy transition is particularly noteworthy. As a tour guide, he brings visitors from all over the world closer to the success story of Feldheim and supports the district’s energy and climate protection strategy. His enthusiasm and knowledge have inspired many young people.
Petra Richter, head of Feldheim, wrote the application for the medal of honour. Mr Knape, Mayor of Treuenbrietzen, gave the laudatory speech and Mr Köhler, District Administrator of Potsdam-Mittelmark, also presented the award. 🏅
